Fantastic end to end care, from initial consultation, MRI scan and knee operation carried out by Mr Chris Wilson and the staff at Nuffield Vale Hospital in Cardiff In and out in a day. Prompt and professional service at its best.

Thank you to all the team at The Vale for the incredible service you provided, my consultant Alan Woodward was brilliantly knowledgeable and understanding, anaesthetists were fantastic with me and the aftercare I received from the nurses was amazing, they were exceptionally well trained and knowledgeable and with me within minutes every time I called. Last but not least the catering team also a fantastic job, food was delicious and the menu was better a lot of restaurants I’ve been in, I could have stayed a while longer! The facility was clean, modern and very comfortable. I’m already feeling better and look forward to saying goodbye to months of miserable pain. Thanks again everyone!

Despite the need to change location for my spinal procedure from the Bay to the Vale, the experience was exceptional. From the receptionist, the nurses, the X-ray staff, and the consultant, they were fantastic. As soon as I got there and realised that I was in pain, they got me a chair to make me as comfortable as possible until I was ready to go into theatre. They explained everything that was needed and even offered to contact my wife once I was out. They managed to put my mind at ease throughout. I can't fault a single person I dealt with. Thank you.

I had a shoulder operation under Mr Angus Robertson and from start to finish it was outstanding care. Nothing but praise for Mr Robertson his secretary Karen, Nuffied Cardiff Bay, The Vale Hospital and Adrian my physiotherapist. This was my first operation going private and it blew my mind. My own room with en suite , a 3 course meal and the staff were just amazing so kind and caring. I would highly recommend Nuffield and The Vale Hospital

I’ve recently been discharged after having lumbar spinal surgery. From start to finish, the service was exceptional, all staff including the nurses, porters, anaesthetists, physiotherapists, catering staff and of course the surgeon immediately make you feel at ease with their level of care & support. I look forward to continuing my recovery with all the staff here at Nuffield and I could not recommend them enough! Thank you!!

I’ve recently had lumbar spinal surgery done by consultant Mr Iqroop Chopra. Fantastic service from start to finish. Thank you to the catering staff, the nurses, porters, anesthetists and of course Mr Chopra for making me feel at ease and providing such a high level of service. I’ve been lucky enough to never need surgery prior but if there’s anything else I know where I’m going!

Just discharged from The Vale Hospital. Had hip surgery. What can I say, from the Consultant to every member of staff I met, everybody was outstanding and credit to their profession, I am not goner mention any names because I might miss one. Thank you all at Nuffield Health The Vale hospital.
