From the very beginning I felt like part of a family. Emma loyd and her colleagues started my journey and was on the end of the phone guiding me right through the whole simple process. Fully understanding our feelings, doubts questions and needs. The information given was factual and very reassuring, but from down to earth people, whom I consider very friendly. When I got to the pines hospital for my operation, I was ready for it, a little nervous but still confident in the team after doing my research and meeting some of them prior, when having my pre op tests. They brought me to my lovely clean fresh room with settled me in, they took my obs and bloods and explained the operation and the alternative operations, I met who was going look after me and who was going to be in theatre, etc etc. I was happy and ready ! I was booked in for a mini bypass, and when I awoke, mr Javed and his team still had my care at heart and brought my around gently explaining the operation.

What a company! From start to finish this is my second time having an op under Phoenix Health, 2 different hospitals and 2 different surgeons (Dr Javid and Ms Darrien) both amazing I must say! The care throughout the whole process is second to none! I felt relaxed and informed and knew exactly what was happening and this was all at my pace! The staff at both the Alex and the Pines again are unbelievable could not fault!! 10/10! ⭐️

Generally very good service , few little things that were not followed up on but I think I was too exhausted to push! Ms Darrian was a fantastic surgeon and put me at ease, what can I say about Dr Donnelly- the anaestist, that guy is incredible, very person centred, understanding and empathetic. Dr Rasian was the assisting fellow, again really good, especially post surgery but did put me under pressure on day 2 when I felt bullied and not listened too…

Updated post review, I reviewed in Jan, but also wanted to do an updated review of my care since, it has been 15 months since my gastric bypass and I still get great care, service and help from the providers at Phoenix. Care does not stop after the operation. It is continual. You are only a call, email away from chatting to someone you need. 15 months on from my gastric bypass with Jenifer Darrien and I am 8 stone off and now a healthy size 10, it has changed my life beyond belief. The after care continues long after surgery and would highly recommend, Barbara is always there and all the team! The surgery has been life changing!

My journey from the very 1st contact with phoenix: pre op, during op/stay in hospital & post op everyone/everything has been excellent, nothing to worry about you are in safe hands.

Revisioal surgery I had my Surgery on the 17th August 2022. despite being cancelled a few times due to the fact that my blood levels where not sustainable as I have a blood disorder which causes my blood not to clot easilly and the surgeon needed more medical advice from my haematologist.But the whole experience was very well managed from start to finish. All the team at phoenix worked hard for me to get the op . Sam the nurse was fab as well as the other background staff for it to be done. My surgeon was Mr Alan li and he was fab.and very thorough.I was very nervous about the anaesthetic and tbh if I was to have another anaesthetic tomorrow by my abass I would not even be scared. My whole experience has been nothing but very positive and I can hand on heart recommend Phoenix Health

I had my Operation on 21st Oct 2021 and the whole experience was very well managed from start to finish. My surgeon was Ms Jennifer Darrien and she was excellent both before and post op. I have had lots of post op support and reviews with Phoenix Health and if anyone is looking to have weight loss surgery (I had a gastric sleeve), I can hand on heart recommend Phoenix Health.

I spent 2 nights at the Nuffield Chester following surgery with Mr Stewart. The entire team from Louie who met me onwards were wonderful. I genuinely cannot say a bad word. I have been given all the information that I needed, the support calls have been right on time. The hospital was clean, staff friendly and I felt safe during my surgery/post op period. I only wish that they had premises in Scotland

There is nothing more i can other than thank you!! The people at Phoenix are amazing. Every step of the way there is somebody holding your hand and guiding you through it. I am currently 2 months post gastric bypass and the aftercare is of the highest quality. Nothing to ever too much trouble and no question or concern is ever left un answered. Again thank you for giving me my life back to enjoy with my young family.

Excellent service and care. Nothing is too much trouble. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, no answering the same questions over again. The level of service provided throughout the procedure and the aftercare have been second to none. Highly recommend

I literally don’t know we’re to begin, from admin, catering, theatre, nurses, surgeons,doctors, pharmacy and cleaning staff the care I received has been outstanding. The expert advice and guidance I received for the bypass and repair of a hernia has been given to me in a none judgmental manner, no shame or guilt attached to it. You guys have literally saved my life I’m not sure I can put it into words. From the bottom of my great full heart thank you, a massive thank you also must go out to the commission who had faith in me, when sometimes due to waiting times i didn’t.

I thought I would write another review for anyone thinking about having weight loss surgery with Pheonix Health. Today I am nine months post op, and from my very first weigh in on the start of my journey I have lost 10st 7lb, this week I purchased a new dress size 16, 9 months ago I was wearing clothes size 28 and some even size 30! Ive joined a gym, I have got my life back, and I can not thank Pheonix Health enough for the support and care given to me during my journey. You have been and continue to be amazing. Thank you

From being really worried at the beginning of this procedure of a gastric sleeve, Jennifer listened to every worry i had. She told me when I woke up i would wonder what i was worried about and she was right. I would recommend this surgical team and this operation to anyone who needs it. There is nothing to worry about. No pain, nothing. I am now feel much better and feeling fantastic. The follow up has been excellent I cant recommend this team enough. The hospital was lovely, very clean and I was treated very well.

Bypass July 2021, everything about my journey with phoenix has been amazing before during and after the surgery. I was a little poorly 3 months after my surgery and had to call the out of hours number and they did not stop calling to check in on me even when I was in hospital for a week. ALL the staff were amazing , kind, thoughtful and caring . 10/10 . five stars . if your pondering on your decision , just do it . most scariest thing i've done but best decision ever. every question answered . call email / call replied to .
