After years of dental phobia, I can now visit Carew Dental Practice with confidence and certainly anxiety free. I am new to the practice but my experiences so far with both the principal dentist and the hygienist have been calm, relaxed and pain free. The best experience I have had with a dentist todate. The staff are friendly, professional and go the extra mile to ensure comfort. I would highly recommend this practice and in particular, their comprehensive monthly health plan. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

All my family have visited Mel at Carew many times and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Our 1st visit was with my granddaughter who had a brace fitted then whitened. Her teeth look amazing she is over the moon. I had a gap in my teeth, couldn’t believe the result l got when Mel bonded my two front teeth, l now have no gap which boosted my self confidence and gave me my smile back. My son and partner have had their teeth bonded and look fantastic, they love them. Lastly my husband had a tooth which had grown at an angle causing food to be trapped. His previous dentist said nothing could be done. After persuading him to visit Carew , Mel bonded the gap and solved his problem, no more trapped food. Trust me you will get the results you want from Mel and his team of very friendly, competent staff who are all experts in their own field.

I recently had a check up with Dr Carew after many years of seeing military dentists. The experience was so much better than I could ever have expected. It sounds odd, but there was no 'dentist smell' which is the one thing that makes me feel anxious when I'm in the waiting room. The team were so inviting and luckily there wasn't much work needed on my teeth. I have always thought about getting my silver fillings changed to white ones - I feel so comfortable at this practice that I have decided to go for it! I was always a bit apprehensive, but I know I'll be well taken care of here!

I am absolutely blown away from start to finish. A professional approach, on every level! and every staff member too! I was so nervous.. But the welcoming environment is second to none. I felt so comfortable from the first time I contacted Carew Dental, this was ultimately my choice. The practice is very inviting and immaculate. Everyone makes you feel very welcome. My teeth are beautiful! I'm just so happy I don't have to look outside of Gateshead! At last proffessional's on our doorstep . Highly recommend!
