I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude and satisfaction with the eye surgery and related medical care provided by Prof. Dr. Barış Sönmez and his team. A few months ago I was referred to Prof. Dr. Barış Sönmez by several people in the health care field and my experience only confirms his expertise but also his natural openness, humanity, kindness and excellent care for his patients. A few weeks ago, to my great satisfaction, I was operated on both eyes for cataracts and at the same time lenses were implanted to correct my myopia and hyperopia. This is absolutely wonderful and brings me back a relaxed and dynamic feeling. I therefore recommend a treatment by Prof. Dr. Barış Sönmez and his team to everyone. I would like to thank Prof. Dr. Barış Sönmez and his team for their openness, excellent care, kindness, and professional expertise whern having this surgery and for their support during this treatment.

Thanks to doctor Baris Sonmez I was able to gather up the courage to finally go through with the LASIK procedure. If it hadn't been for his ability to foresee and point out the red flags in my situation, never in a million years would I have overcome my fear to actually do this. He is very meticulous and thorough at what he does. He kindly and patiently walked me through every step both before and during the operation. Perfect combination of down to earth and professional, super trustworthy, he did not sugar coat anything about the operation. Just like he said, the second I stepped out, my first thought was "wish I had done this sooner!". Lastly I'm forever grateful to Nurse Sibel for the amount of patience she has shown me while I was a whimpering, whining mess and for preventing me from having a full blown panic attack right before going in and of course for holding my hand during!

Doctor Barış Sönmez the most brilliant ophthalmologist that I’ve ever had the pleasure to learn from and work with. His work ethic is admirable and his patient communication skills are ideal. He is so kind and can handle both adult and pediatric patients with all of them leaving the clinic feeling a lot better than they did coming in. He always puts the patient first and goes beyond to ensure the health and happiness of the patient. In addition, he dedicated the time I had with him to teaching me and making sure I am well-equipped on my way to ophthalmology. I would definitely recommend him for students and patients, and I would love to follow in his footsteps and become an astonishing ophthalmologist like him
