If you are going to have a gastric sleeve- go with Apera. I have just been discharged from their hospital today and I cannot fault them at all. Their communications are excellent, they answer wassap messages all times of day and night; all of the transport is new and plush, the hospital is a wonderful private hospital and the interpreters are there 12 hours a day to help out. The operation was smooth (painful but that’s to be expected) the nurses are very kind and helpful and responsive. We got a bag of meds and shakes to start us when we left the hospital and the nutritionist gave us a talk on how to eat. She has even set up a wassap group for us all to join so we can ask any questions in the future. It’s an amazing service and especially for the price

My experience with apera was absolutely fab! My coordinator Elise was so helpful from the start until the end of my journey. She even sorted me a last minute transfer as I changed my flight. The only reason I have gave 4* as I think they could have been a bit more understanding when leaving lights on and doors open at 6am in the morning. Other than that the care was brilliant

From start to finish Apera was absolutely faultless. No pushy sales techniques, that I experienced with other companies after I had made enquiries. Pre-op I was dealing with Petek, at anytime she was there, normally within minutes to answer any questions I had. From the second my wife and I arrived to Istanbul we were completely taken care of. Great hotel for our first night then on to the Apera clinic and private hospital the next day. After extensive checks I was then into surgery, followed by a textbook recovery then home, safe and sound 5 days later. I am now 1 month post op and over 2 stones down (13.5 kilos). Cannot recommend Apera, Petek and Cengiz Ertan, my surgeon enough.

For a year I had been on the fence about getting a gastric sleeve. I did my research and talked to a few women who had the procedure. I finally decided to go with Apera for the gastric sleeve. Mainly because of the positive feedback and the support before the surgery. I flew to Turkey on a Tuesday with my husband. On Wednesday I had the surgery and I was home again by Sunday. It was such a positive experience and I am so happy I did this for myself. I am starting to feel and look like my old self again and I love it. The staff at the hospital were amazing! The care was 1st class. I felt so taken care of and would return in an instant. Because you go with a group to the hospital, I even made lifetime supportive friends. Even now six weeks later I receive WhatsApp messages from Apera, asking how I am doing. I can not think of one negative thing about my experience. So happy with everything. Highly recommend Apera

From start to finish the experience was fantastic. Firstly I dealt with the coordinator yeliz who gave all information needed before booking and during the stay. Great communication!! The hotel provided for the first and last night was faultless, very clean and friendly. I was provided with a driver throughout the week who was very friendly and helpful with the bags etc. it was snowing on my trip but I felt safe. At the hospital translators were always available when needed, again very friendly and approachable. I was always informed of what was happening and what to expect. Before my procedure I received many tests to see if surgery was safe for me which gave me peace of mind. My gastric sleeve went really well and the after care was continuous, anything that I needed was given straight away. The surgeon was amazing, so friendly and funny which made this process so much easier especially being away from home. All staff including cleaners etc were fantastic! The hospital was so clean i
