Had lapband removed. EXCELLENT coordination, care, and facilities. Every single person I interacted with, virtually and in person, was kind, knowledgeable and caring. All of my questions were answered up front. The procedure went as described, and recovery has gone well. I was provided with information and medication to ensure my recovery was as easy as possible. The doctors and nurses were all wonderful, and took the time to answer questions; I never felt rushed. Google Translate helped with one interaction; otherwise, communications were flawless. The hospital was very nicely appointed and very clean; they were also able to handle any potential crises so I wouldn't have had to be transferred if something went seriously wrong. Coordination with the hotel and car service were excellent. I was very, very happy with the services I received, and grateful for all of the care.

Beautiful, clean facility, SUPER friendly staff. Everyone appeared to be knowledgeable. Security out front. My only issues were that I felt my pain wasn't always managed in a timely manner, the cafeteria closed way too early for my husband, and I was suprised at how little English the nurses knew. Thank God for Google Translate.

I have put off my surgery several times. Just not physically or financially prepared. The owner, Alma, called me directly and was very professional in assisting me.

My experience was amazing! It starts from the very beginning. Before you even get to Tijuana! The staff walks you through everything you need to know and do. They stay in constant contact via email or phone calls. Once you are in beautiful Tijuana, you are so very well taken care of by the hosting hotel and your driver. The hospital is so clean and serene. The drs and nursing are amazing! I really didn't want to leave! It was so beautiful! The surgery went very well and of course I've lost 70 lbs now, but the experience as a whole was amazing, and I'm so glad I did it!

I flew to San Diego on a Sunday. Was picked up at the airport and driven to hospital to have blood work done the day before surgrey. Taken to Marriott Hotel. Was picked up next morning. Blood sugar was too high to have surgrey. They did everything needed to lower my blood sugar so I could have surgrey on Tuesday morning. I was the first patient that morning. Surgrey went Great! Went so well I was able to leave Thursday morning and instead of going to hotel I was able to fly home that afternoon. The staff & doctor's were the best! The cleanest hospital I've ever been into. My Driver that picked me up from the airport and returned me to the airport was awesome..( made a new friend). Had surgrey on May 24,2023 as of to-date I've lost 62 pounds. Feel Great and not looking too bad either😂..lol I recommend getting in touch with Martha to schedule or help you plan your weight loss surgrey. - Joe Lea Vidor, Texas

I felt safe. I traveled alone. Everyone at Florence Hospital took great care of me. The entire experience was great. The Hospital was clean and the staff were excellent. The hotel was awesome. The surgery went well.

Trying to organize a procedure but the communication was awful. I did not feel secure getting a procedure done when the communication with the coordinating staff was so messy and frankly not how a professional business should handle their patient on boarding.

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Can’t wait to have a whole new life. All of the doctors and staff are phenomenal and the procedure + hospital was flawless.

After doing much research, I decided on choosing Tijuana Bariatrics for my VSG surgery. Specifically Dr. Garcia and his team at the new Blue medical tower hospital. I was sleeved on February 1, 2021. Let's start with the cons and my reasons for 4 out of 5 stars. First- there appeared to be some communication breakdown between shifts and staff members. Some nurses would tell me one thing and another come in and have no idea that I had been told this. For example; one nurse told me it was okay to leave my compression stockings off during the day but needed to be back on that evening yet, the next nurse wasn't aware I had been told this and didn't find any notes regarding it and put them back on me because it's hospital policy that a patient has them on at all times. It also felt, at times, that no one knew what was going on with me or what was supposed to be happening for my recovery or when. Again-all part of what I believe to be some communication issues amongst staff.

The entire experience was flawless. From the first time I spoke with Martha, the patient coordinator to boarding the plane to come home was perfect. The drivers were all friendly, caring and knowledgeable of the area and border process. The hotel was beautiful and the staff were beyond amazing. I felt like royalty. The hospital (CER) was immaculate and the staff were kind and welcoming. Dr. Garcia was wonderful and the care I received was top notch. I can’t say enough about the process. If you’re considering having this life changing surgery...do it! My surgery date was January 29, 2021
