Just back home from Prague. I had livelong astigmatism and had recently developed cataracts. I was afraid of not being able to drive so after considering a few quotes I settled for Refrakcni Centrum. I m amazed that I did because I would say it easily has to be among the top clinics for eye surgery. Dr Novak is nothing short of a magician and the care team is second to none. I wasn't anxious or nervous but I didn't expect it to be so comfortable. Absolutely pain free. The cost was less than a third of what I would have paid here in Scotland. So if you have such eye problems and are considering surgery contact this clinic. They are superb as are the results. Couldn't wish for better.

I have had eye surgery this week to replace my lenses for both eyes, with the Refrakcni Centrum in Prague. The staff there are all professional and charming. Dr Novac explained the choices and processes for my treatment very clearly, and we agreed a treatment plan together. So far the treatment has been trouble-free and my sight is improving day-by-day. It is only a few days since my final operation, so if things either continue to progress or do not, I will update this review.

The treatment was excellent. It is a very modern clinic with good service. I had prelex operation with trifocal toric lens. Everything went just fine and now I do not need any spectacles. I chose this clinic because of the praise and because of the recommendations they have got from their patients. I also want to recommend to use Dana my taxi driver in Prague. She is reliable and has fixed prices.

Didn’t do the treatment as my eyes are not suitable after a thorough examination. A reliable and honest doctor would highly recommend.

I'd like to thank the wonderful team for the professional job administered during my treatment at your clinic last week. It has been many years since my eyesight has been so good. On our subsequent journey through Bohemia I was able to read the traffic road signs without the use of glasses which put me in a good mentally positive mood. I thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful scenery and the weekend in general. Now that we are home I am able to read the daily newspaper and drive at night all without the need for glasses. Previously at night, I could see four headlights in parallel and not two for an oncoming car which of course prevented me from nighttime driving. Words cannot express my appreciation.

Absolutely fantastic. Both myself and my husband are delighted with the results. 1 eye operated on Wednesday and by Thursday afternoon what a difference 2nd eye done on Friday flew home today and eyesight is brilliant. I would like to thank everyone in the clinic and also Barbora who we have dealt with from the beginning of the process. The treatment I had was for both eyes I was -6.50 in both eyes and was very shortsighted. I had laser eye surgery and the results are great, I can see now as if I had my glasses on. Everything was explained clearly as due to my sight being so bad and my age it was unclear how much of an improvement there would be. However, I still went ahead as I knew there would be an improvement this was all explained very clearly. As explained during the surgery it is painless as your eyes are anaesthetised, after there was some discomfort but not pain. However, that went after 3 to 4 hours and now everything fine. Just taking eye drops, eyes in the morning take a few minutes to adjust but it's still early days as I am only two weeks after surgery. I would highly recommend. The people at the clinic are very professional and it is a modern clean building. Everything was explained clearly so I knew what my options were. Polite and friendly.

I highly recommend them. I have always been heavily dependent upon glasses since as far back as I can remember. I had my surgery in March. Dr. Petr Novák is a wonderful surgeon. I was a very scared patient, but I needn’t have worried. All the staff are excellent. I inquired with RCP and a trustworthy gentleman named Björn who helped arrange everything and made me feel very relaxed. I would thoroughly recommend Doctor Petr Novák, because his skill and professionalism inspired me with the confidence to proceed with the operation which has changed my life for the better.
