After completing his residency in ophthalmology at the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Dr. Taneja pursued a fellowship in the treatment of retinal and vitreous diseases at the renowned L V Prasad Eye Institute in Hyderabad, India. He began his career as a vitreoretina surgeon in 2005 and has since accumulated a wealth of experience in dealing with various eye surgeries, investigations, and lasers.

Dr. Taneja's commitment to advancing the field of ophthalmology is reflected in his active participation in professional societies such as the American Society of Retinal Specialists (ASRS), European Vitreoretina Society (EVRS), All India Ophthalmological Society (AIOS), and Vitreoretina Society of India (VRSI).
