Liposuction is a combination of the words "lipo" (fat) and "suction," and it refers to the process of melting the fat in the body and then removing it through cannulas. How is Liposuction Performed?

A special serum is given to the treatment area to reduce bleeding and pain after the surgery. This serum also helps to dissolve fat tissue. The serum is allowed to take effect for an average of 15-20 minutes, after which the fat is removed from the body using liposuction cannulas attached to a vacuum effect-creating aspirator.
