Mr. Aadil Khan, MPH, PhD, FRCS (Plast.) General Medical Council (GMC) Registration: 6055416
After completing his medical studies at Brasenose College, Oxford, Mr. Khan underwent specialized training in Plastic Surgery within the London Deanery. He holds a Master's in Public Health from Harvard University and earned his PhD from the Institute of Cancer Research in London. Mr. Khan is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and gained entry into the GMC's specialist register for Plastic Surgery in 2018. He is an esteemed member of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) and the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS).
As a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at The Royal Marsden Hospital, Mr. Khan specializes in breast reconstruction, lymphoedema, and post-cancer surgery reconstruction. He has completed formal fellowship training in both reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, with fellowships at The Royal Marsden Hospital and The Johns Hopkins Hospital, USA. While his primary focus lies in breast reconstruction and lymphoedema surgery, Mr. Khan's expertise extends to reconstruction across various cancer types including skin cancers, sarcoma, and thoracic cancers.
Maintaining a robust academic practice, Mr. Khan holds an honorary associate faculty position at The Institute of Cancer Research in London. His research endeavors encompass a wide range of interests, including breast implant capsule biology (encompassing capsular contracture and breast implant-associated anaplastic large cell lymphoma, BIA-ALCL) and the clinical assessment of surgery for lymphoedema.
