I was born in Istanbul in 1958. I completed my primary education in Istanbul and my secondary education in Ankara. I graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty between 1977-1983. I completed my compulsory service between 1983-1985, and my military service in Muğla between 1985-1987. From 1987-1990, I worked as a resident physician in the Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) department at Istanbul SSK Okmeydanı Hospital. I completed my specialization training between 1991-1993 at Uzoki Hospital in Budapest, and from 1993-1995 at Istanbul Beyoğlu Hospital, becoming an ENT specialist. From 1995-2003, I worked as an ENT specialist at Marmaris State Hospital and Karya Private Hospital. From 2004-2005, I worked at Istanbul JFK Hospital, and from 2005-2016, I worked at Istanbul MEDİ Medical Center. From 2005-2021, I worked at Özel Acıbadem Fulya Hospital. Currently, I am practicing as a freelance ENT doctor at Fulya Academy Center.
