Dr. Lütfi Tunç, a renowned expert in urology, robotic, and laparoscopic surgery, graduated from Hacettepe University Medical School in 1994. He completed his residency in Urology at Gazi University Medical School from 1996 to 2001. During his urology residency, he underwent specialized training in male infertility at Istanbul Memorial Hospital's Center for Assisted Reproduction and Reproductive Endocrinology in 2000.
In 2002, Dr. Tunç began working as a specialist doctor in the Department of Urology at Gazi University Medical School. Between 2002 and 2011, he served as the responsible faculty member of the Andrology Department at Gazi University Medical School's IVF Unit. Dr. Tunç received training in laparoscopic surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center's Department of Urology in Dallas in 2003.
Specializing in laparoscopic and robotic surgery, Dr. Tunç started performing laparoscopic urological surgeries in 2003, focusing on conditions such as prostate cancer, kidney cancer, adrenal gland diseases, and bladder cancer. He was appointed Associate Professor in 2007. Dr. Tunç further honed his skills in laparoscopic surgery at Heidelberg University Hospital's Department of Urology in Heilbronn, Germany, in 2007.
Since 2005, Dr. Tunç has been sharing his expertise with Turkish doctors, conducting over 600 laparoscopic urology surgeries at various hospitals in Turkey. He has organized 36 national and international courses and symposiums between 2005 and 2016.
