Dr. Emrah Efe Aslaner, born in Adana in 1983, is a distinguished plastic surgeon with a rich academic background and extensive surgical experience. His educational journey began at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 2002, where he embarked on a path that would lead him to become a specialist in Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. Throughout his medical education, Dr. Aslaner sought to broaden his horizons by undertaking internships in various countries, including Spain, the Czech Republic, and the USA, gaining valuable insights and skills in both general and plastic surgery.
After completing his medical education, Dr. Aslaner continued his specialization at Çukurova University, where he focused on breast reconstruction techniques using autologous tissue or implants. His thesis, "Comparison of Different Repair Methods Used in Breast Reconstructions," demonstrated his commitment to advancing the field through rigorous research and analysis.
Following the completion of his specialization in 2014, Dr. Aslaner further solidified his expertise by passing the European Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS) exam, which validated his qualifications not only in Turkey but also in Europe. He then dedicated three years to serving as the sole plastic surgery specialist at Osmaniye State Hospital, where he honed his skills in a wide range of aesthetic and reconstructive procedures.
In 2017, Dr. Aslaner joined the faculty at Adana Baskent University, where he continues to practice and teach plastic surgery. Fluent in English and Spanish, he is an active member of both the Turkish and European Plastic Surgery Associations, contributing to the advancement of the field through his clinical work and academic research. Dr. Aslaner is not only a skilled surgeon but also a devoted family man, finding joy and inspiration in his role as a husband and father to his two children, Ela and Efe, whom he fondly refers to as "my most important publications."
