Assoc. Dr. Altuğ Çetinkaya is a renowned Ophthalmologist specializing in Oculoplastic, Orbital, and Reconstructive Surgery, with a particular focus on correcting cosmetic and structural disorders around the eyes. He completed his master's degree in the United States, where he honed his expertise in eyelid and eyebrow aesthetics, eye bags, tear duct obstruction, eyelid cysts-tumors, orbital tumors, orbital fractures, orbital decompression, and prosthetic eye and socket surgeries.
Born in Trabzon in 1975, Dr. Çetinkaya excelled academically, graduating from Hacettepe University's English Medicine program in 1998 before completing his Ophthalmology specialization at Ankara Başkent University. He furthered his training in the United States, passing the USMLE exams and completing a clinical fellowship at the University of Cincinnati and Cincinnati Eye Institute.
Returning to Turkey, Dr. Çetinkaya continued to advance his skills, focusing on neuro-ophthalmology and Oculoplastic Surgery. He earned the titles of Associate Professor of Ophthalmology in 2011 and Professor of Ophthalmology in 2021. In 2012, he established the Ata Beauty & Wellness Center and worked as an Oculoplastic Surgeon at Dünyagöz Ankara Hospital until 2019, where he also served as the Oculoplastic Unit Director.
Since November 2019, Dr. Çetinkaya has been providing exceptional care to his patients at his private practice in Maidan Business Center. Additionally, he leads the Department of Ophthalmology at Yüksek İhtisas University, continuing to contribute significantly to the field of Ophthalmology with his expertise and dedication.
