The 5th floor nurses are phenomenal. I received the best care of any hospital I’ve ever been in (and I have been in a lot). A special shout-out to Nurse Renie. She is a most compassionate, caring person. Also a shoutout to PCA Felicia who made me smile every time she came into the room to check on me.

I can’t say enough good things about my stay. All of the nurses were very supportive, friendly and caring. I would like to say that the cafeteria( who probably don’t get enough praise) and housekeeping were great. My stay was wonderful and I left a message on my rooms grease board and the big board on the fifth floor. My thanks to everyone who took care of me

Despite some construction or remodeling happening at the ER/ surgery check in area when i had my procedure in the first week of December, the hospital is very well organized. The staff has always been friendly and the nurses are great

I would put a five had the first night after surgery been adequate, but in my estimation , it was a big no stars at all. I lay in bed that night for two hours with no one answering my calls for pain or nausea meds. I was wrenching and lying in urine and unable to do anything but cry. My husband drove an hour trip back to San Antonio at midnight. Things changed the next day for me. I hate to blame hardworking nurses, but this instance needs to be brought to their attention. It is called humanity and paying for our care and not getting it.

The nursing staff was exceptional. It did take a while to get into a room and go through the process of getting an IV and heparin drip for my blood clot. I know they were extremely busy with other patients. I did get a lot of miscommunication when I was discharged. I do understand the nursing shortage and realize the medical staff is doing the best they can. I wish there had been better communication throughout my stay.

The medical personnel at this hospital is phenomenal. I w arrived at the hospital before 5:30 am. I took advantage on the on line registration. I presented the Q-R code. Then the nurse took me in. She was professional and thorough with the explanation. The anesthesiologist was also very nice. I was impressed to see everyone so alert and ready to work. Each nurse explained the role in my procedure. Then after surgery (when I opened my eyes is was 2 pm) I was treated with compassion and empathy. I was a little nausea, but they immediately work hard to help me. I stayed overnight- nurses were friendly, focused. Professional and reviewed my discharge papers carefully with me. Thank you to all of them I felt better. They definitely contributed to me having a great stay with comfort. Thank you for your commitment to all your patients. We all appreciate it.
