Jane was a fantastic help for my anxiety. She was recommended to me by a relative and I immediately liked her proactive and upbeat approach. I felt that there was a plan in place straight away which made me feel hopeful that I would get better. I liked the homework in between sessions which I found useful in keeping me on track and made me feel I was actually doing something to make myself better. I work in the NHS and Jane seemed to have a lot of experience in helping healthcare workers and she understood the stress that we are under.
It didn't take long for me to start feeling much better- I had about 12 sessions and steadily improved, and I now feel pretty much back to normal (before I saw Jane I didn't always think this would be possible!) I now have a much better understanding of anxiety, can recognise it's subtle signs and have ways of managing it. I honestly can't believe how well CBT works.

I got in touch with my therapist Jane independently with no idea what to expect from cognitive behavioural therapy, having dealt with depressive episodes for several years prior. In 8 sessions together we diagnosed the issue, generalised anxiety disorder, and underwent a series of simple exercises to change the way I think about it. Ultimately it's given me a new outlook and the tools to deal with my anxiety should it return again. I'm thankful for the process and would recommend it to anyone else who may be struggling with their own mental health, I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to undertake and how effective the results have been.

I have no hesitation in recommending Dynamic You. I have been receiving CBT counselling for a few months for GAD (Generalised Anxiety Disorder) and although I approached it with trepidation I was very quickly put at ease. My therapist, Jane Gowland was very understanding, she listened, pointed me in the right direction, helped and advised me all through my counselling journey. I felt that she completely understood me, even when I didn't. I have come out the other side a better person and now have the skills to help me in the future. Thank you Jane.

I would highly recommend Jane to anyone considering CBT. Her approach was tailored to my individual needs and goals from day one, and she quickly adapted sessions as we went based on the work I had done between sessions so things moved at the pace I needed. Having the sessions over the phone made it completely accessible. I didn't realise it would be possible to actually enjoy and look forward to therapy! Thank you!

I saw Jane Gowland for 12 sessions of CBT from October to March. I had been diagnosed with anxiety and it was affecting my day-to-day life both physically and mentally.
Jane was warm, made me feel at ease and taught me many different techniques to help control my anxiety. I looked forward to my sessions. She was incredibly supportive and made a difficult process a lot easier. I cannot overstate how much she has changed my life and I am able to do things again now that 6 months ago I couldn’t have contemplated.
Whilst I was sad to finish my sessions, it is a real testament to how successful the therapy was. I also appreciated the open-door policy whereby if I needed to go back, I could. Thank you Jane!

I saw Jane Gowland for 12 sessions of CBT at the end of 2017. Jane made me feel at ease during a difficult time and helped me tackle my challenges head on, without fear. Jane was a great support and taught me life skills that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. I was sad to say goodbye to Jane when I no longer needed the sessions, but that is testament to the fact that she did a great job!
